GRANO HOTEL Gdańsk Riverside dawniej HOTEL ALMOND BUSINESS & SPA

During our stay we used the Restaurant on 2 of the 4 nights, the food choice was excellent and we really enjoyed eating in the hotel (the weather was not great on the first 2 nights). Patricia the dessert chef made a stunning Plum Crumble which as any Englishman would agree is a great dessert to have as an option on a cold and wet evening ! Live music was played on a couple of the nights which was nice to have. Rooms all have Aircon which I liked as I like to sleet in a cooler room. Proximity to Gdansk and tourist locations is easily a 10 minute walk. Proximity to Gdańsk Srodmiescle Train Station for Sopot and Gdynia is around 500m from the hotel and tickets are cheap from an English perspective with machines that have Language options. The Spa in the Basement was excellent with a Sauna, Steam Room and Pool with a Hot Tub.

Beautiful place with great location, still very close to the centre but in calmer area. Our room was really comfortable, clean, quiet and with good curtains for complete darkness. We especially enjoyed the Spa area - little disadvantage is that the jacuzzi is a bit smaller and often full so you may have to wait to get there (but there is plenty of other options to use in meantime - swimming pool, sauna, steam room - probably the best offer in Gdańsk). Breakfast is excellent with classic options as well as more special ones. I could image we woudn't get bored of the food offer even after a few days. Overall, our stay was perfect and we had a really good time.

Breakfast was just exceptional. Restaurant food was very very good as well. The hotel was clean, staff is very helpful. Bed was also very comfortable. The hotel is in 10-minute walk from the center which is a plus actually, because the place is very quiet, and there are no crowds of tourists everywhere, and at the other hand you can quickly get to the center.

Clean and comfy rooms, lovely and versatile breakfast. Helpful staff. The immediate area a bit scruffy, but location was good, 5 mins walk from the old town. The spa is included in the price, we were allowed to use it upon arrival while waiting for our rooms to get ready for us to check in.

For the first time in Poland/ Gdansk. I hope not for the last time. The Almond Hotel is a gem and well positioned. 10 min from all attractions. The restaurant is excellent with a fabulous breakfast. The staff in the restaurant are very very kind and nice. The a la carte menu is not very diverse but what they have is exceptionally prepared. The spa is a big plus. Cosy and with a professional staff. The only minus... the reception staff. A sour lady at check in...or maybe she just had a bad day. I highly recommend
